Toshko Yordanov: Our motive for wanting to re-enter the parliament is practical - 1

„There are problems facing the country, we have views on some of the problems. A large part of the people think like us, so it is quite logical for representatives of a party to strive to be in parliament, to implement the things they consider right.“

This was announced in an interview for the program “Face to Face“ Toshko Yordanov from “There is such a people“ (ITN) in response to a question why his party wants to re-enter the National Assembly. According to him, the main motive of his formation is “practical“.

„Everyone has the right to say whatever they want, including nonsense. Ultimately, the responsibility for an election always lies with the Bulgarian voter“, Yordanov said of the election promises.

The chairman of the parliamentary trap of the ITN denied that his party had sought support from Delyan Peevski.

“We have neither asked for, nor received, nor asked for support. The reality is this“, he announced.

He emphasized that legislative initiatives of the ITN have passed with different majorities, not only with the support of the “DPS – A new beginning“.

Regarding future coalitions with GERB, Yordanov stated that the assessment will be made after the elections, but gave a positive assessment of the previous government in which they participated.
“While we were in government, both BSP and GERB adhered to the program that we had made“, emphasized the MP from the ITN.

Yordanov also commented on the global situation, stating that the international order is unstable.

“Superpowers, when their interests are affected, do without international treaties. The two wars must end as quickly as possible“, announced Toshko Yordanov.

Among the main legislative priorities of the ITN, if they enter the 52nd parliament, Yordanov indicated expanding the possibilities for referendums and completing initiated bills, including regulations for the protection of personal space.
