Former Prime Minister and Tsar of the Bulgarians Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha appealed for humanity and constant efforts for kindness on Good Friday. He attended the memorial service of the Ode to Christ in the capital's Metropolitan Cathedral "St. Nedelya".

The former Prime Minister's call came in response to a journalist's question about the need for humility to overcome social crises and political opposition in our country.

"Let's all think about it. And not just today. We must all constantly think about this, make efforts and be kinder to each other. This is the most important thing" – said Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, quoted by BGNES.

The service in the church "St. Nedelya" was personally led by His Holiness the Bulgarian Patriarch and Metropolitan of Sofia Daniil. On Good Friday, the saddest day of Holy Week, the Orthodox Church commemorates the crucifixion and physical death of Jesus Christ. Believers gather in the churches to experience Christ's suffering in anticipation of the coming Easter.
