The deadline for announcing the names of the new MPs is April 26. Maybe this will happen earlier. Most likely, the National Assembly will be convened next week. This was stated by President Iliana Yotova in her first comment after the election results.
"I congratulate Rumen Radev as the winner, but I also congratulate all Bulgarian citizens who believed in their vote", she also stated.
"I attribute this high voter turnout to the fact that people believed that the Ministry of Interior is doing its job properly, congratulations to the leadership of the ministry", Yotova added.
