“Progressive Bulgaria” will not take steps towards Bulgaria’s exit from the EU, the Eurozone or NATO. This was guaranteed in an interview with bTV by Ivan Demerdzhiev.
In his words, what they will focus on is rethinking our policies within the framework of the alliances in which we already participate, in a way that protects and meets our national interest.
“This trust is a huge responsibility. We are ready to bear it and are aware that we must not allow the expectations and hopes of Bulgarian citizens to be deceived in any way. We are aware of this burden and we will do everything possible this time for the hopes and expectations of Bulgarians to come true. The people sought the alternative. They outlined it themselves.
Bulgarians will not be misled and their trust will be justified. I very often make promises, but I have a habit of keeping them. The same goes for the other colleagues in the party. We are a community of people pursuing a common cause. We are not individualists who have their own path and their own vision, which is different from that of the others in the team”, he further commented.
