Quite expectedly, Boyko Borisov is stepping back and letting the others understand each other, hoping that he will benefit in the end, but this is unlikely, because “such a collapse for Borisov is unprecedented”, commented journalist Ruzha Raicheva.
According to her, this crisis in the party will not be overcome so easily and it is obvious that the GERB electorate does not approve of “that Borisov has become weaker and let Peevski command him”.
Lyudmil Iliev, a journalist, commented that Borisov has long spoken about how his cooperation with PP-DB and the MRF has negatively affected the image of his party. “However, this explanation is not adequate against the backdrop of the crushing blow that we saw in these elections on the entire party system and the loss of nearly 800 thousand votes from the parties represented in parliament so far”, said the journalist.
The most difficult decision for joint work will be that of “Progressive Bulgaria” and PP-DB, but this is pending so that judicial reform can be implemented, according to Ruzha Raycheva.
