Sarafov's resignation has been awaited for a long time. This was stated by former prosecutor and investigator Boyko Naydenov on the air of "Hello, Bulgaria" on "Nova TV".
Lawyer and legal expert at the Institute for Market Economy Ivan Bregov is of the opinion that the law applies to Sarafov, but the problem here is the title.

"If we cannot accept each other, then his powers must be limited. Something that needs to be put on the table is that there should be a mechanism to protect judges who reveal irregularities in the system," explained Ivan Bregov. According to him, the system knows who does what and tomorrow they should have protection so that court security does not pursue them and report them to people who create addictions.
"Currently, the prosecutor's office is ready, there are normal people who are fed up and want to talk about the irregularities of the last 10-15 years. Enough magistrates are ready to stand on the side of the law," Naydenov also said.
