„The heart of the „Peevski-Borisov“ model has been taken out. This is an achievement of the hundreds of thousands of Bulgarian citizens who came out to protest against the conquered state at the end of 2025. An achievement because it became clear that there are already these 160 votes that will lead to the destruction of this model. With these 160 votes, we must make sure that this model can no longer be reproduced, and that people like Peevski can no longer have such power in Bulgaria.“
This was stated by the co-chairman of „Yes, Bulgaria“ Ivaylo Mirchev in a media briefing added that Peevski and Borisov are disarmed, but the next steps are extremely important.
According to the party's co-chairman, Bozhidar Bozhanov,“this is the first step, now the election of a new Supreme Judicial Council is imminent, as well as a new composition of the Inspectorate to it, and under new rules. “Rules that will ensure that the next bodies of the judiciary are composed of much more honest and prepared people who will not elect the next Sarafov. Not only that – The next inspectorate at the Supreme Judicial Council must urgently check Sarafov's property status, as well as all files related to election crimes, because this campaign showed that the prosecutor's office is putting umbrellas over vote buyers.“
The party also demanded the resignations of other people from the judiciary, including the former chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court, Georgi Cholakov, the city prosecutor of Sofia Emilia Rusinova and all the “dwarves“.“
“Part of this gang, this model, is Georgi Cholakov from the Supreme Administrative Court, as well as many others, who must reconsider whether they can continue to work against the interests of society. We insist that all of them resign immediately, start audits and investigations,“ stated Mirchev.
