Evelina Slavkova: People decided that this time they will not be passive towards the electoral process - 1

"To a large extent, people voted to resolve the political crisis. Within 5 years, Bulgarians went to the polls eight times to have a working government. The rating that Rumen Radev had during his mandate certainly had an impact on the election result, said sociologist Evelina Slavkova from the "Trend" agency in the "Denyat na Zievo" program on NOVA NEWS.

According to her, with 130 MPs and such great trust, it will be difficult for "Progressive Bulgaria" to propose another prime minister, besides Rumen Radev.

What is expected from Rumen Radev's government

"People decided that this time they would not be passive towards the electoral process. About 20% of the people who did not vote in the last elections voted in these ones. The voter turnout approached that of the vote in April 2021. The return of people to the polls is a good sign”, the sociologist added.

"Each of the political parties will show common sense regarding the judicial reform. I believe that there will not be a big case regarding the gathering of a constitutional majority”, she added.
