The future regular cabinet should develop a long-term income policy. This was said by the acting Minister of Labor and Social Policy Hasan Ademov in the studio of “Hello, Bulgaria“.
According to him, Bulgaria is in one of the first places in terms of inequalities in the labor sphere. “They are among the reasons for the “working poor“. This implies a comprehensive, in-depth and long-term income policy, not periodic social increases. The challenge for the next government is to develop one. The social partners must actively participate and discuss“, added Ademov.
According to him, a serious analysis should precede any possible cuts in the state administration. “There are units and sectors that work behind the counter and are not digitalized. They need to be strengthened“, the Minister of Social Affairs believes.
Ademov pointed out that inflation is a consequence of what is happening in our surrounding environment. “It can hardly be fought by handing out money. The caretaker cabinet proposed important measures for transport and agriculture, because the increase in fuel prices has also been passed on to the end consumer“, the Minister explained.
