At night there will be areas with precipitation and thunderstorms, mainly in Northern and Eastern Bulgaria. By the morning the precipitation will stop, at the latest in the northeastern regions, and the cloudiness will break and decrease.
The wind will be oriented from the northwest, will strengthen and in most of the country it will be very windy, with gusts up to about 90 km/h. The cloudiness will be variable, and in the afternoon there will again be temporarily intense precipitation and thunderstorm activity, mainly in Southern Bulgaria, including along the Southern Black Sea Coast. There will also be local hail.
The maximum temperatures will drop significantly and will be between 16° and 23°, in Sofia – around 16°.
A stormy northwest wind will blow in the mountains. There will also be thunderstorms and precipitation, with snow falling above 1800 meters.
On Thursday the wind will weaken, but it will remain mostly cloudy, with a greater probability of precipitation in Southern and Eastern Bulgaria.
On Friday there will also be sunny hours, but afternoon precipitation and thunderstorms are expected in many places in the country. There will also be conditions for hail.
Precipitation will also occur on Saturday and Sunday, in many areas – significant in quantity. Maximum temperatures on most days will be between 16° and 21°, slightly higher on Friday and Saturday.
