Kaloyan Metodiev: Mr. President, convene the National Council of Nationalities on the water crisis - 1

Mr. President, convene the National Council of Nationalities on the water crisis. By law, you are obliged to convene the National Council of Nationalities in a difficult security situation in the country. Isn't half a million people without water difficult enough? In the Pleven region alone, there are over a hundred thousand.

This was called for on "Facebook" by Kaloyan Metodiev from "Nepokorna Bulgaria".

I am afraid that activity is being imitated until the fall. Mayors and municipal councils are helpless. You have both a legal right and a moral obligation to these people. A leader takes care of the citizens and their problems first. Otherwise, he is not a leader, the political scientist pointed out.

Here is his position:

Dear Mr. President,

For the third day, I have been waiting for a response to my public request to convene the National Council of State to find a solution to the water shortage. I have been contacted by citizens from Pleven (I used to live there) who are waiting for a solution to their serious problems. By law, you are obliged to convene the National Council of State in a serious security situation in the country. Isn't half a million people without water serious enough? In the Pleven region alone, there are over a hundred thousand.

In Breznik, things are very bad. Doesn't this seem like at least a medium problem to you? Because I know the presidential institution, for the second time I strongly urge you to convene a KSNS on the topic of water shortages with the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the National Assembly, the relevant ministers, heads of services, political parties.

To close everyone as much as necessary in the presidency, to remove the responsible persons (at least two ministers are for resignation, plus the entire Water and Sewerage Holding) and to authorize a headquarters with extraordinary powers to deal with the problem. Hospitals, kindergartens, schools, private homes are on the verge.

I am afraid that activity is being imitated until the fall. Mayors and municipal councils are helpless. You have both a legal right and a moral obligation to these people. I expect you to pay attention to them immediately! The arguments about cars and security guards are your everyday problem, and theirs is access to running water. For me, theirs is the priority for the state.
