New online system for booking appointments in the cadastre - 1

The Agency for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre (AGKK) has launched a new system for online booking appointments in the largest offices in the country, which will make it easier for citizens to choose a convenient day and time for a service and receive more organized and predictable service. The measure is aimed at limiting queues and saving time for both citizens and businesses, as well as the administration. This is another step towards better organization of the Agency's work and, accordingly, better service to citizens and businesses. The new option is already operational in Sofia District, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas.

The Agency reports significant progress in the digitalization and modernization of services in 2025. The institution realized a record volume of processed services, expanded electronic services and introduced key legislative and technological changes. In 2025, AGKK processed 830,000 services, including 311,000 amendments to the cadastral register and 46,000 projects for amending the cadastral map. The acceleration of work is the result of automation, internal control and better organization, which led to a significant reduction in delays. The upgrade of KAIS and the introduction of secure electronic identification with QES allowed the expansion of electronic services and the reduction of the need to visit a counter. More and more citizens and businesses receive documents and results entirely online.

AGKK has also launched a process for full real-time access to the Property Register, which will improve checks of property deeds and speed up the processing of files. The amendments to the Cadastre and Property Register Act adopted in October establish the electronic document as the main tool, limit paper document flow and reduce the administrative burden for citizens and businesses.

AGKK actively participates in measures to prevent property fraud and has strengthened its international presence with a focus on digital transformation and the integration of cadastral systems.
