In a specialized police operation in Bobov Dol, nearly 8 kilograms of marijuana were seized.
The uniformed officers acted on a signal that light drugs were being stored in a house in the village of Panicharevo and in a car parked on the property. The relevant searches were immediately undertaken under conditions of urgency.
3 bags of dry green mass were found in a car with a suspended registration. Scales and two transparent space bags with marijuana were found in the apartment.
An inspection also followed at another apartment in the village, for which there was a signal that drugs were being stored. An envelope was found in two of the rooms, as well as two 700 ml jars, which were filled with dry green leafy mass, which in the field drug test tested positive for marijuana. The total amount of drugs seized is 8 kilograms, the police press center reports.
During the investigation, it was established that the drugs were provided by a 29-year-old from Pernik. The man was located in the village of Shatrovo, Bobov Dol municipality, and was detained with a police measure for a period of up to 24 hours.
