The woman who is believed to have stabbed four people with a knife in the center of Sofia has been detained. This was reported by the Sofia Directorate of Internal Affairs (SDVR) to BTA. The woman is 39 years old, the SDVR specified.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported to BTA that a woman stabbed four people with a knife in the central part of Sofia - in the area of \u200b\u200bthe boulevards “Dragan Tsankov" and “Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi“.
The Emergency Medical Center told BTA that at 7:29 p.m. they received a report of two people who were injured at the "Vasil Levski Stadium" metro station. About 15 minutes later, a second report was received about two girls who were stabbed at the bus stop 94 on "Cherni Vrah" Blvd. in the direction of the "Hemus" hotel.
The emergency teams took the victims to the "Pirogov" University Hospital and Military Medical Academy.
Shortly before midnight, the Sofia Police sought assistance from citizens in searching for the woman, distributing her photo.
