The son of the dismembered man whose remains were found by a homeless man in a plastic bag in a container in the Plovdiv district of “Trakia“ has been detained, NOVA learned.
Yesterday it was reported that an arrest had been made in connection with the criminal case. This happened near the place where body parts were found on April 8.
We recall that the signal about the sinister find was submitted to 112 by a homeless man. The area was immediately cordoned off by the police. Inspections and interrogations of residents were carried out, but initially the identity of the victim and the circumstances surrounding her death were not clear.
According to the investigation, the bag with the remains was thrown next to the bins the previous evening, and the lack of traces at the scene gives rise to speculation that the body was dismembered elsewhere and subsequently discarded.
The investigation into the case is ongoing. The prosecutor's office and the Plovdiv police are expected to provide details about the arrests.
