She was born on January 30, 1944 in Plovdiv, in the family of the dramatic actor Georgi Manev.
She has over 120 roles in theater, cinema and television. Among her most famous films are “The Last Word“, “Ladies Invite“, “Mea according to measure“ and “The Petrov File“.
She is an honorary professor at the New Bulgarian University (NBU), where she passes on her experience to the younger generations.
She is the recipient of the “Stara Planina“ Order - first degree, as well as numerous awards for lifetime achievement, including the “Golden Rose“ and “Icarus“.
In 2024, the actress celebrated her 80th anniversary with the documentary film “Tsvetana Maneva. Through Time“, which traces her life and creative path.
Maneva continues to be an active observer of social processes, recently expressing her support for young people in Bulgaria.
