One of the most mysterious and interesting for us Bulgarians, ancient epigraphic monuments found on the territory of the Italian peninsula, is "Accetta Satricum". It was left by the Volcians and - as its name suggests - was discovered in Satricum, a large Volcanic city founded in the pre-Roman era, rivaling Alba Longa in population. In the 5th century BC Christ, he had already entered the territory of the coastal Volks - the Volksian Anciates - and his name was changed to Satrikum Anciiski. It is located in Latium, sixty kilometers from Rome, on an ancient road parallel to the Appian Way. Today, Satrikum does not exist as a settlement, but only an extensive archaeological site. The epigraphic monument "Accetta Satricum" is exceptional in that it was written in the Volcanic language in the Volcanic script - unlike the "Tabula Veliterna", which was written in the Volcanic language in the Latin script. I have not examined it with a view to its reading, but the place of its finding - Satrikum - throws, in my opinion, a bright light on the meaning and antiquity of the ethnonym "Volsky".
In his article dedicated to "Tabula Veliterna", as well as in his book "Peak Bulgaria", ed. 2016, (in which I pay great attention to the Volsians - Lydians who were peacefully accepted in Italy by the Etruscans, who were also Lydians, according to Herodotus), I argue that the ethnonym "Volians" is closely related to the Bulgarian name (Volga Bulgaria) and literally means "wolves". It is amazing to what extent the symbol of the wolf - smart, brave, merciless, organized - merged in the minds of the ancient people with the very concept of "people" - we understand it from the German word volk - people, which literally means "wolf". From the ancient Thracian word "wolf" the term "war" - "howl" ("fight"). That is why we can translate the ethnonym "Volsky" and as "fighters", "warriors", a name corresponding to the characterization that Titus Livy makes of this Italian people - ferocior ad rebellandum qvam bellandum gens ("History of Rome").
After these considerations, it is not difficult to figure out the meaning of the name Satrikum, one of the most significant Volcanic cities. Replacing "with" with "sh", we get its proper name "Shatrikum", which leads to "Kshatrikum" - city of the kshatriyas, the warriors. "Kshatriyas" in Sanskrit it originally meant "rulers", "rulers", but quickly narrowed its meaning to "warriors", given the fact that the Aryan caste-state was based on military organization. The very word "shatri", which is clearly derived from "kshatriyas", means military, marching tents (military camp) and has nothing to do with the later meaning of the primitive dwelling of an uncivilized individual (tribe).

* Given the above analysis, I consider as completely reasonable the idea of one of the founders of trachology, V. Tomasek, that the Thracian people satri, who inhabited the Southwestern Rhodope Mountains, whose name fully corresponds to the name Satrikum, actually originated from the military caste of the gods and the devils.
