The people of Israel do not hide their fatigue from the war and their dissatisfaction with Netanyahu's rule. With his vague comments, the Israeli prime minister is creating uncertainty among the population, ARD writes in a report from Tel Aviv:

Heavy equipment is clearing the rubble in the northern part of Tel Aviv. On Tuesday morning, Iranian missiles once again devastated the area. A huge crater has opened up next to a high-rise building, the facade of which has been shattered. Many people were injured, ARD writes.

Fadid Yaniv of the Israeli police was one of the first at the scene of the attack. "We see here the warhead of an Iranian missile that exploded in the middle of the street and carved a huge hole in the asphalt," he told the German public media.

Cars were also damaged and the building was severely damaged, ARD reports. "We think it was about 100 kg of explosives," the police officer said. As experts explain, Iran has not used missiles with such a large charge in this war so far.

Iran is using increasingly powerful charges

Until now, the regime in Tehran has mainly used cluster bombs, in which small explosive charges are scattered over a large area, in retaliation in the Tel Aviv area.

But over the weekend, over 100 people were injured in Iranian attacks on cities in southern Israel. And there, according to media reports, hundreds of kilograms of explosives were used. The news of the more powerful charges spread quickly and alarmed the residents of Tel Aviv, writes the German public media.

People in Israel have post-traumatic symptoms

Tamar, who is sitting in a street cafe, enjoys the brief moment of peace. “The bomb fell very close to my house. Nothing is normal and people have post-traumatic symptoms,” she tells ARD.

As Tamar points out, the population does not trust the Israeli government. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is using the war because otherwise he will have to appear in court, Tamar suggests. “And for us, the only thing that is certain is that nothing is certain. These are the worst times Israel has ever experienced."

The fighting in the Middle East continues

The people of Israel do not hide their war fatigue and dissatisfaction with Netanyahu's rule. With his vague comments, the prime minister constantly causes uncertainty among the population - especially regarding the end of the war. He announced that he hopes for a “agreement with Iran". Despite this, Israel continues to strike Iran and Lebanon.

In southern Lebanon in particular, Israeli troops have already reached the Litani River, 30 km from the Israeli border, ARD reported. From there, the Iranian-backed Hezbollah militia shelled Israeli communities in the northern part of the country daily.

Israeli Defense Minister Katz said that for now, Israeli troops would remain in the area and control it. “The hundreds of thousands of residents of southern Lebanon, whom we have called for evacuation, will not return there until security is guaranteed for our residents on the northern border."

The Israeli media suggest that the advance of the units in southern Lebanon and the captured areas could later be used again in ceasefire negotiations. But such negotiations are not yet in sight. Hezbollah has announced that it will resist firmly. And so the situation in Israel could become even more acute, the German public media writes.
