Ludogorets head coach Per-Matthias Högmo said at the official press conference before tomorrow's clash with PAOK in the main phase of the Europa League that the most important thing is for his team to maintain focus and use its opportunities, Topsport reported.
"I expect the motivation to be at the same high level in every match. This to be part of our culture. In every match in the championship we want to develop the team. For European matches, the references are quite different. Tomorrow we will face a team with a slightly different style of play than Celta. I hope we can continue to develop our game both in defense and attack," Högmo began.
"I expect every team that comes to play against us to be well prepared. I expect the same from PAOK. For us, the most important thing is to have the same focus and continue to create chances. I am very pleased with the previous match - the draw with Slavia - we created very good opportunities. Against Celta, we also had good chances - counterattacks, we managed to penetrate between the lines. Tomorrow, the most important thing will be to use the spaces in the same way,", the specialist specified.
"I am very happy that all the players are coming in confidently, showing quality and courage. They are not stopping fighting. We still have 9 points to play for. We have a chance to win three more in tomorrow's match. After the one with Celta, the team is motivated and has a lot of desire," he added.
"John impressed me with the knowledge and passion he shows. In addition to being a fitness coach, he is also in the sports science department. He has a lot of experience in many clubs. He has worked with Jurgen Klopp. He is a good person who can ensure the physical preparation of the players. We have a busy calendar with two matches a week. This is a challenge for all of us. We now have another person who is competent and can help us a lot," shared Högmo.
