Ludogorets players play with heart and this makes head coach Per-Matthias Högmo happy. He added that the 3:3 draw against PAOK was fair and it keeps alive the "eagles" chances to qualify for the Europa League play-offs.
"It was a match with six goals and many chances. We faced a strong, well-organized opponent who is tactically prepared. We continue to create chances and score goals, and three against PAOK is very good. Our players play with heart and this makes me happy," said Högmo after the match.
"We definitely need to improve some things. We had great chances in the first half, but the last pass was not good enough. A draw is a fair result, though. Yes, we could have won, but PAOK were very strong in the last minutes and the goalkeeper saved us," he continued.
"We have two games left against Rangers and Nice, so it's up to us whether we move forward. This point was key. We have a game on Monday, then we'll play for the championship and then we'll have a two-week break. We'll prepare in Turkey and hopefully we'll be ready for the away game in Glasgow in January," Högmo added.
