Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua defeated internet star Jake Paul by knockout in the sixth round of their exhibition match, which took place in Miami, BTA reported.
The fight started cautiously, with Paul managing to avoid the favorite's heavier blows in the first four rounds. In the fifth round, the Briton knocked down his opponent twice, and in the sixth round, a series of powerful blows forced referee Christopher Young to stop the fight at 1:31.
In total, Jake Paul was knocked down four times during the fight that was stopped early.
“It took a little longer than expected, but the right hand finally found its target,” Joshua said.
“Jake Paul did really well tonight. I want to give him credit. He kept getting up again and again. It was difficult for him, but he kept trying to find a way. You have to be a real man to do that, but he faced a real fighter tonight," he added, quoted by Reuters.

After the fight, Joshua challenged his longtime rival Tyson Fury.
„If you're a really bad guy, don't talk so much: „AJ this, AJ that“, let's see you in the ring and talk with your fists,“ he said. Paul couldn't handle Joshua's strength and experience.
„I think my jaw is broken. It's definitely broken, but man, that was good. "A nice little compliment from one of the best who ever did it . . . I'll come back and get a championship belt at some point," he said after the fight.
The fight was broadcast live on the Netflix platform, which reaches about 300 million subscribers worldwide. Among the spectators in the hall were a number of famous athletes and public figures. In the warm-up match between former champions, 50-year-old Anderson Silva defeated Tyron Woodley by technical knockout in the second round.
