The best Bulgarian competitor Alexandra Feigin won the women's title at the State Figure Skating Championship for all ages, which is being held at the Winter Palace in Sofia, BTA reported.

The representative of the Ice Dancing Denkova-Staviski club collected a total of 170.25 points, after being first in both the short and free programs with scores of 57.36 and 112.89 points, respectively. She became the national champion for the ninth time in her career.

In second place was her teammate Kristina Grigorova with 132.45, followed by Anastasia Yurchuk (Ice Star) with 104.86 and Natalia Peeva (Slavia) with 90.45 points.

In the men's event, the gold went to Alexander Zlatkov (Elite) with 170.83, who was second in the short and free programs. Second was Philip Kaimakchev (Ice Star) with 170.27, and third was Larry Lupolover (Sofia Stars) with 169.44 points, who was the best in the free program. The men's competition was extremely close, with the top three having a difference of about a point.

In the girls' event, where 15 competitors participated, Varvara Abramkina (Ice Dance Denkova-Staviski) became the champion with 158.93. She is followed by Liya Lyubenova (Elite) with 148.88 and Krista Georgieva (Elite) with 142.26.

Deyan Mihaylov (Denkova-Staviski Ice Dance) triumphed in the juniors with 175.95 points, followed by Ioannis Apostou (Elite) with 155.32 and Rosen Peev (Slavia) with 96.12.
