Lokomotiv (Plovdiv) defeated Botev (Vratsa) 2:1 as a guest at the very end of the match from the 27th round of the First League. Martin Smolenski opened the scoring for the hosts at the beginning of the second half, Joel Zvarts equalized for Plovdiv five minutes later. In the added time of the match, the reserve of the "black and white" Miha Tardan brought the three points to his team, BTA reported.
The hosts from Botev started the match more mobilized and the first shot on one of the two goals was by Radoslav Tsonev. Lokomotiv responded with a header by Andrey Kindrish, which, however, was right in the hands of goalkeeper Marin Orlinov. Tsonev again took charge of Vratsa, and his shot went past the right post.
Exactly after half an hour, Martin Petkov from Botev shot, and the goalkeeper of the "black and white" Petar Zovko saved the shot.
Orlinov also distinguished himself at the other goal, parrying a shot by Kindrish. He also saved a shot by Sevi Idriz at the end of the first half.
Botev started the second half excellently. In the 53rd minute, captain Ivan Goranov crossed with an outside cross from the left, Radi Tsonev knocked the ball to Martin Smolenski, who had his back to the goal, turned and shot into the left corner of Petar Zovko's goal - 1:0.
Plovdiv's players quickly equalized. In the 58th minute, Parviz Umarbaev broke through and crossed from the left, Efe Ali very intelligently left the ball behind him, where Joel Tsvarz found it with his left foot and made Marin Orlinov helpless - 1:1.
In the 75th minute, the hosts made a mistake by Seini Senyang, who had just entered as a substitute, shooting at the side post.
In the first minute of added time, Miha Tardan was in the best position in the penalty area and intercepted a cross from the right - 1:2.
Thus, Lokomotiv established itself in sixth place and will almost certainly play in the second four. Botev is in ninth position.
