Bulgarian biathletes returned to Sofia today with a flight from Oslo via Munich. Among them was our bronze medalist from the last Winter Olympics in Milano-Corina d'Ampezzo - Lora Hristova.
At the capital's "Vasil Levski" airport were the president of the Bulgarian Biathlon Federation Atanas Furnadzhiev, the mayor of Troyan Donka Mihaylova and many young Bulgarian biathlon competitors, as well as competitors from the Troyan club "Ajax".
"I feel even better because all the starts are over and I can enjoy my vacation. I am even better after seeing how many people were waiting for me to bring me flowers. I have already realized what I have achieved.
I am glad that I will be an incentive for these children to train hard. We need to modernize our biathlon facilities in Bulgaria. I do my job every day and I will continue to do so! Foreign expectations are not a problem for me.
All the competitors in the World Cup are quite friendly, it was like that even before the Olympics, the difference is that now most of them know me. Not every start can have a great result.
Not every day is Easter! With hard work and perseverance, everything is achieved. I am ready to be the leader of the team, I think that everyone takes something from the other in our team and we pull together," said Hristova.
