Mohamed Salah's agent came out with a sharp stance immediately after his client revealed that he was leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.
The news that the superstar is ending his relationship with the Merseysiders became clear yesterday evening and comes despite the Egyptian signing a new two-year contract worth £400,000 a week almost a year ago.
The 33-year-old iconic Merseyside player will end his nine-year stay at "Anfield" in May. After reaching an agreement with Liverpool, Salah will leave the club with a status similar to that of a free agent.
His long-time representative, Rami Abbas Issa, however, quickly refuted speculation that the Egyptian's next destination has already been chosen.
“We don't know where Mohamed will play next season. That also means that no one else knows. Beware of attention seekers chasing clicks,” Abbas wrote on the social network X.
According to the "Daily Mail" interest in Salah is expected from clubs around the world. Of course, the Saudi Professional League and the American Major League Soccer are mentioned as possible destinations. His status as a free agent could also prove tempting for Liverpool's European rivals.
