Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that he was lifting the state of emergency for civilians in settlements near the Gaza Strip, Agence France-Presse reported, quoted by BTA.
The measure was introduced after the "Hamas" attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
"I have decided to accept the army's recommendation and, for the first time since October 7, to lift the special regime on the home front," Katz said in an official statement from his office.
