Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed decrees on appointments to the Security Council and the Ministry of Defense of Russia, Reuters and TASS reported, quoted by BTA.
Colonel General Andrei Bulga, until now one of the deputy ministers of defense, is now deputy secretary of the Security Council.
In his place, Colonel General Alexander Sanchik becomes deputy minister of defense. Until now, he was the commander of the Southern Military District.
Putin is the chairman of the Security Council, his deputy is Dmitry Medvedev. The secretary is Sergei Shoigu, who was replaced as minister of defense by Andrei Belousov.
