At least three killed, 12 injured in Russian attack on apartment building in Ukrainian city of Dnipro VIDEO - 1

A Russian airstrike hit an apartment building in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, NOVA reported.

At least three people were killed and 12 injured, including two children. Firefighters pulled the residents out of the building through a large hole in the facade. A fire broke out after the explosion. According to the Ukrainian government, Russia fired 450 drones and 45 missiles at the neighboring country that night. Many of them were aimed at Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Damage was caused to facilities in the Kiev, Poltava and Kharkiv regions.

Russia attacks energy and port infrastructure in the Odessa region with drones.

The night before, Russia carried out the largest-ever air strike on Ukrainian thermal power plants, FOKUS reported.

All thermal power plants of "Centerenergo" stopped due to a massive Russian attack last night. They are currently not generating electricity. This is reported by CENSOR. NET, citing the press center of the Ukrainian company “Centerenergo“.

"An unprecedented number of missiles and countless drones - several per minute - were aimed at the same thermal power plants that we had restored after the devastating attack in 2024" - this is what the company "Centerenergo" reported on its Facebook profile.

There were strikes on the Zmievskaya (in the Kharkiv region), Ugledarskaya and Trypilskaya TPPs (in the Kyiv region) - they are managed by the company. Thermal power plants provide 10% of Ukraine's electricity and 20% of its heating.

''For the sake of security, we were silent, but we did everything so that Ukrainians could survive the last winter with light and warmth and overcome the hellish trials to successfully start the current heating season!

Not even a month has passed since the previous strike, and tonight, at the same time, the enemy was cooking on our entire generation“, the message says.

“The central power plants are burning! Our thermal power plants are not military facilities. We do not produce weapons! Civilians work here. We stopped... Now there is zero production. Zero! We have lost what we were restoring around the clock. Completely!“ - added "Centrenergo".

"Each time the enemy strikes even harder, even more cynically. But we will again do what we know best, overcoming the fatigue and pain of losses: we will restore, repair and introduce a new generation! Because there is no other choice", the company summarizes.

On the night of November 7-8, Russia carried out another massive air attack on Ukraine. During the attack, Russian forces used kamikaze drones, cruise and ballistic missiles, including "Kalibur" and "Kinzhal".

Russian forces also attacked railways and civilian infrastructure. Emergency power outages were forced in several regions of the country.

Several fires broke out in the capital's Pechersk district due to falling debris. Russia also massively attacked the Kiev region with missiles and drones. Peaceful settlements and energy system facilities were affected.

The Poltava region was also under massive attack. Kremenchuk and Gorishny Plavny were completely without electricity. The cities also had no heating and water supply. In addition, the railway infrastructure was damaged as a result of enemy strikes on the Poltava region: several stations were left without electricity, and in some areas the contact network was damaged. Therefore, train movement is carried out only by diesel locomotives, which leads to significant delays.

Vilnius International Airport in Lithuania is closed to arriving and departing aircraft due to unidentified objects in the airspace. This was announced last night by the airport's Air Traffic Control Service, TASS news agency reported, quoted by FOCUS.

"From 18:45 local time (20:45 Bulgarian time) airport operations have been suspended due to the appearance of unidentified objects in the airspace. The air traffic control zone in the airport's area of responsibility is also temporarily closed, a source from the department said.

He did not specify what unidentified objects were involved, but noted that "the airport is expected to be closed for approximately three hours".

The Russian budget is experiencing serious pressure - oil and gas revenues continue to decline, official data from the Russian Finance Ministry show, FOCUS reported.

According to the latest report for the period January-October 2025, the decline reaches over 21% on an annual basis.

Data from the Ministry of Finance shows that oil and gas revenues in the first half of 2025 shrank by 16.9% compared to the same period in 2024, to 4,735 billion rubles. For the period January-July, the decline is already 18.5%, with revenues reaching 5,522 billion rubles. In monthly terms, for example, in July 2025, oil and gas revenues decreased by 27% year-on-year, to 787.3 billion rubles.

The ministry forecasts that for the whole of 2025, revenues from the oil and gas sector will be about 8,317 trillion rubles — significantly below previous plans. The main causes of the decline are falling international oil prices, a strengthening ruble and restrictions on Russian oil and gas exports.

"Even if exports by "Rosneft" and "Lukoil" were to decrease by 5-10% and discounts on Russian oil were to be increased, this would lead to budget losses of 120 billion rubles per month", estimates Vladimir Chernov, an analyst at Freedom Finance Global, quoted by The Moscow Times.
