Turkey is working to free approximately 200 Gaza civilians trapped in tunnels, Reuters reported, citing a source.
“We are working to ensure a safe exit for approximately 200 Gaza civilians currently trapped in tunnels“, a senior Turkish official told Reuters.
He also said Turkey had facilitated the return to Israel of the body of deceased hostage Senior Lieutenant Hadar Goldin.
On November 9, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that the country was providing aid to the Palestinian enclave and that “food, medicine, medical equipment, clothing, hygiene products and other items have already been sent to date goods“.
