Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 65 Ukrainian drones over several regions of Russia last night, the Russian Defense Ministry reported, quoted by TASS, BTA reports.
"Tonight, air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 65 Ukrainian unmanned aircraft of the aircraft type: 18 over the territory of the Voronezh region, 16 over the territory of the Ryazan region, 14 over the territory of the Belgorod region, 7 over the territory of the Tula region, 4 over the territory of the Bryansk region, 3 over the territory of the Lipetsk region, 2 over the territory of the Tambov region", the ministry's statement said.
One drone was also reported shot down over the Ukrainian Crimean peninsula, which Russia annexed in 2014.
