Democratic US congressmen who called on the military to disobey President Donald Trump's orders "should be in jail," Trump said last night on his social network "Truth Social."

"THE TRAITORS WHO TOLD THE MILITARY TO DISOBEY MY ORDERS SHOULD BE IN JAIL RIGHT NOW, NOT WALK AROUND THE FAKE NEWS NETWORKS TRYING TO EXPLAIN THAT WHAT THEY SAID WAS COMPLETELY NORMAL. IT WAS NOT NORMAL AND NEVER WILL BE! THIS WAS A CALL TO REBELLION AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL, AND CALL TO REBELLION IS A SERIOUS CRIME. THERE IS NO OTHER INTERPRETATION FOR WHAT THEY SAID!", Trump believes.

On Tuesday, six Democrats - members of the US House of Representatives and the Senate - published in "Ex" video in which they remind military and intelligence officers: "You can refuse to carry out illegal orders", recalls Agence France-Presse.

"This administration is pitting our uniformed military and our intelligence officers against the American people", said the six congressmen, who are former military or secret service officers.

In a previous post, Trump accused the same Democratic politicians of "REBELLIVE BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH PENALTY!", recalls AFP.

"Absolute disgrace", the Democratic Party reacted in "Ex".

The video of the Democratic congressmen does not specify which orders they are talking about, but Donald Trump and his loyal ally in the Pentagon, Secretary Pete Hegseth, are criticized for the use of armed forces. The president has ordered the deployment of National Guard units to several Democratic-leaning cities, including Los Angeles and Washington, against the will of local authorities.

In recent weeks, the United States has also carried out about 20 strikes in the Caribbean and Pacific Ocean on vessels it claims, without providing evidence, are involved in drug trafficking. At least 83 people were killed in the strikes, AFP recalls.
