The former head of the Ukrainian presidential administration Andriy Yermak is preparing to go to the front, he announced in an interview with the New York Post.
“I'm going to the front and I'm ready for any repression. I'm an honest and decent person“, Yermak said, adding that he had “served Ukraine“ and did not want to “create problems“ for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Yermak was dismissed from his post on November 28 amid an investigation into corruption in the energy sector. His home was searched that morning.
Zelensky called what happened “a reboot of the Ukrainian presidential administration“ and thanked Ermak for always presenting Ukraine's position in the negotiations exactly as it should be.
