A key railway infrastructure has been blown up in the Russian regions of Novosibirsk and Bryansk, disrupting the movement of trains used to supply the Russian army, RBC-Ukraine reports, quoted by Focus.
The explosion in the Novosibirsk region occurred on November 20 in the village of Baryshovo on the West Siberian Railway. A section of the tracks was damaged, making it impossible for freight trains to pass and disrupting the logistical routes of the Russian military. On November 28, a new explosion occurred in the town of Unecha, Bryansk region. A fuel transport facility was damaged at the Unecha junction station on the Bryansk-Gomel line, an important route for transferring fuel and military equipment to Belarus.
According to sources, the explosion destroyed at least two tank cars and damaged the railway track. Russian security services have tried to cover up the consequences of the sabotage, but local residents are actively discussing the explosions on social networks.
A similar incident was reported on October 21 on the railway line between Pskov and St. Petersburg, where an explosion damaged the tracks, causing a partial fire in a freight train and temporarily cutting off mobile internet. This disrupted traffic on the route and disrupted the logistics of the Russian military.
