At least 23 people have died in a nightclub fire in the state of Goa, The Indian Express reported.
According to police, the fire is believed to have been caused by a gas cylinder explosion.
„Rescue and evacuation operations are underway. Most of the bodies were recovered from the kitchen, suggesting that the victims worked at the club. "Two bodies were found on the stairs," the newspaper quoted the state's Attorney General Alok Kumar as saying.
