Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has warned the US side that a military confrontation between the United States and Venezuela could lead to a repeat of the Vietnam War.
This was stated by the Permanent Representative of Belarus to the UN Valentin Rybakov on the state television channel "Pervyy Informatsionny", quoted by "Interfax".
"The Belarusian President spoke very frankly with the US delegation on this issue and warned that involving America in such a war would simply mean a repeat of the Vietnam War for America, which is not in anyone's interest - neither the American people, nor the Venezuelan people, nor the entire international community," Rybakov said.

The United States will soon begin ground strikes against drug cartel facilities in Venezuela, Trump said.
"We've gotten rid of 96% of the drugs that come in by water. Now we're starting on land, it's a lot easier on land.
