Odessa region (Zatoka, Chernomorsk, Yuzhny, Artsiz, Sarata) was attacked with drones and guided bombs at night from the Black Sea, the chairman of the Odessa regional military administration Oleg Kiper announced on his Telegram channel, BTA reports.
Damage was recorded to energy, transport, industrial and civilian infrastructure facilities, he informed.
Temporary shelter points have been deployed to help the population.
Critical infrastructure is running on generators.
The alert has been in effect for six and a half hours, was announced at 03:36 and continues until at the moment.
The drone attack on Chernomorsk and Zatoka does not stop.
Local authorities are calling on residents to hide in bomb shelters.
