The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the facilities of the "Efremov" synthetic rubber plant in the Tula region of Russia, which specializes in the production of components for plastic explosives and solid rocket fuel, as well as facilities for the storage and maintenance of unmanned boats in the Mirny region of the Crimean peninsula. This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, quoted by Ukrinform, BTA reported.
"As part of the systematic reduction of the military and economic potential of the Russian aggressor, on the night of December 24, units of the Ukrainian defense forces successfully struck several enemy targets," the statement published on "Facebook" reads.
In the city of Efremov in the Tula region of Russia, the facilities of the synthetic rubber plant, which specializes in the production of components for plastic explosives and solid rocket fuel, were hit. Explosions and a large fire were recorded at the production site.
A warehouse and service center for unmanned boats in the Mirny region of the Crimean peninsula were also hit. Among other things, in order to partially disrupt Russia's logistics system, a military warehouse in Dovzhansk, Luhansk Oblast, was hit.
This morning, regional authorities in Russia's Tula Oblast reported a fire at an industrial facility after a Ukrainian drone attack. Ukrinform recalls that the previous night, Ukrainian drones carried out a series of strikes on the "Stavrolin" chemical plant in the city of Budyonnovsk, located 200 km from Stavropol, Russia.
