Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in the United States, reported „Suspilne“.
The Ukrainian leader will meet with his American counterpart Donald Trump on Sunday, December 28.
The two leaders will meet at 20:00 Bulgarian time in Palm Beach, Florida, the White House confirmed.
Initially, the White House indicated that the talks would begin at 22:00, but they were later pulled back two hours earlier.
At the meeting, the parties plan to discuss several key aspects of the new 20-point peace plan, prepared by Kiev. In particular, security guarantees and a plan for the country's reconstruction will be discussed, as well as the “military component“ and “plan for further actions“.

Earlier, Zelensky announced that he intended to discuss with Trump security guarantees, their schedule and economic assistance for the country's reconstruction.
On the eve of his talks with Trump, the Ukrainian leader flew to Canada, where he met with Prime Minister Mark Carney and spoke with European leaders.
“During our conversation, we discussed our current diplomatic progress.“ “We discussed together the most important priorities. Ukraine appreciates all the support. We will continue the conversation after the meeting with President Trump“, Zelensky wrote on Telegram.
He stressed that Ukraine “needs a strong position both on the front line and in diplomacy“ and thanked Canada and the Europeans for their support. Carney announced the allocation of $2.5 billion in additional economic assistance to Ukraine.
