Vladimir Putin informed US President Donald Trump about the attack on his residence near Novgorod, after which the US head of state was shocked and outraged, said the adviser to the Russian president, Yuri Ushakov.
„Putin drew his colleague's attention to the fact that almost immediately after what the American side considered a successful round of negotiations in Mar-a-Lago, the Kiev regime launched a large-scale terrorist attack using long-range drones. We have clearly stated that such reckless terrorist acts, of course, will not go unanswered.“
It was previously reported that on the night of December 28-29, 91 Ukrainian strike drones were destroyed in an attack on one of Putin's residences in Russia.
According to Ushakov, the US president stated that he "cannot imagine such insane actions".
„This will undoubtedly affect American approaches in the context of working with Zelensky, to whom, as Trump himself said, thank God, the current administration did not give a "Tomahawk", Ushakov noted.
