A photo of US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin was hung on the wall in the lobby of the White House, connecting the West Wing to the residence, journalist Elizabeth Landers reported on the social media X, UNIAN reported.
She noted that the joint photo of the two leaders was probably taken during the summit in Alaska last year.
„I also noticed something in the lobby connecting the West Wing to the residence that I had not seen before: a framed photo of Presidents Trump and Putin at the summer summit in Alaska“, Landers wrote.
The journalist added that under this photo there is another photo of US President Donald Trump posing with one of his grandchildren.
Landers published the photo of Putin and Trump, confirming this fact.
The summit in Alaska was held on August 15, 2025, with the main topic being the war in Ukraine. The two presidents demonstrated close relations and exchanged compliments, but ultimately failed to reach an agreement to end the war in Ukraine.
