A delegation of MEPs is arriving in Bulgaria tonight to prepare a report on the state of the rule of law in our country, bTV reports.
It is led by Valeri Aye, chairman of the European Liberal Group "Renew Europe" in the European Parliament.
The delegation does not include Bulgarian MEPs, so as not to influence the information provided by Sofia.
The judicial system in Bulgaria is corrupt, said Valeri Aye, before leaving for Sofia.
„By the oligarchs, in particular by Mr. Peevski, who, if I understand correctly, is pulling the strings. This is a big problem. For Bulgarians and for European democracy“, said Valeri Aye.
