The steps taken by SpaceX to stop Russia's "unauthorized" use of Starlink have worked, Elon Musk said, as quoted by Reuters.
"It appears that the steps we took to stop Russia's unauthorized use of Starlink have worked. Let us know if more needs to be done," the SpaceX CEO wrote on the social network X.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced earlier this week that Ukraine is working with SpaceX to prevent Russia from directing drones using the Starlink internet system. Kiev claims to have detected long-range drones using Starlink.
"Western technologies should continue to help the democratic world and protect civilians, instead of being used for terrorism and the destruction of peaceful cities," Fedorov said.
