Cold and dry weather will continue throughout Ukraine, with night temperatures expected to range from -18°C to -30°C, and daytime temperatures from -13°C to -18°C.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported this on Facebook.
"Cold and dry weather with night temperatures from -18°C to -23°C (in the northern regions and Kharkiv region from -22°C to -27°C, in places up to -30°C), daytime temperatures from -13°C to -18°C; in the southern and southeastern regions night temperatures from -12°C to -17°C, daytime temperatures from -6°C to -11°C; in Crimea and Transcarpathia night temperatures from -3°C to -8°C, daytime temperatures from 0°C to -5°C. Some roads will be icy. Wind from north to northeast, 5-10 m/s", the report says.
Kiev and the Kiev region will also be cold, with icy roads and a northerly wind at a speed of 5-10 m/s. "Temperatures in the region at night will be from -22°C to -27°C, in places up to -30°C, during the day from -13°C to -18°C; "in Kiev at night from -22°C to -24°C, during the day from -14°C to -16°C," the report added.
