Kirill Dmitriev, the special envoy of Russian President Vladimir Putin, said that there is progress and positive developments in reaching a peace agreement for Ukraine before the start of the second day of trilateral talks in Dubai, Reuters reported, BTA reported.
"War mongers from Europe and Britain are constantly trying to interfere in this process. The more such attempts at intervention there are, the greater the real progress achieved," Dmitriev pointed out.
"There are positive developments," the special envoy added.
Kirill Dmitriev also indicated that active work is being done to restore relations with the United States, including within the framework of the Russian-American working group on economic issues.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant took part in the previous meeting of the working group in Miami last Saturday together with Dmitriev, US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.
