The Israeli Air Force has struck the residence of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei during an attack on Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced.
“This morning, with a powerful surprise strike, we destroyed the compound of the tyrant Khamenei“, he said in a televised address broadcast on Israeli television.
Netanyahu also claimed that Khamenei himself may have been killed in the strike. “There are all signs that the dictator in Iran may no longer be alive“, the prime minister suggested.
