Popular analyst Prof. Zhang Xian explained why Israel and Saudi Arabia pushed Trump into the conflict and how drones for 50 thousand dollars defeat missiles for millions. Professor Zhang Xian, creator of the popular channel “Predictive History“ and an expert in game theory, made startling predictions about the future of global order in an interview with “Breaking Points“.
Back in 2024, Prof. Zhang Xian predicted three key events: the victory of Donald Trump, the start of a war with Iran and - the most controversial - that the US would lose this war. In view of the current escalation, his latest prediction seems more relevant than ever.
Asymmetric War: Drones Against Millions
According to Professor Zhang Xian, Iran's strategy has been in the works for 20 years.
“This is a war of attrition. The Iranians view this conflict through the prism of their eschatology - for them it is a battle against the ‘Great Satan’,“ he explains. The analyst points to the huge financial and technical asymmetry in the conflict.
While Iran uses cheap drones worth $50,000, American air defense systems launch interceptors worth tens of millions.
“We recently saw how 11 American missiles failed to shoot down a single Iranian ballistic missile over Israel. The American military machine was designed for the Cold War, not for the conflicts of the 21st century. This model is economically unsustainable,“ the professor argues.
The blow to the “Achilles heel“ - water and energy
The strategy of Tehran and its proxies such as the Houthis, Hezbollah, Hamas is not just military, but economic. They are attacking the critical infrastructure of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which are the backbone of the American economy.
“If an Iranian drone hits a water desalination plant in Riyadh, a city of 10 million people will be without water for two weeks. 60% of the water in the region comes from these plants“, warned Professor Zhang Xian.
According to him, Iran has de facto closed the Strait of Hormuz, which threatens 90% of the food supplies to the Arab monarchies.
The collapse of the petrodollar and the AI bubble
The professor makes a direct connection between security in the Gulf and the stability of Wall Street. The Gulf states recycle their “petrodollars“ back into the American economy, as they are currently the main investors in data centers and artificial intelligence (AI).
„If these countries stop selling oil and financing the US technology sector, the AI bubble will burst, and with it the entire American economy, which is essentially a financial Ponzi scheme“, is categorical Professor Zhang Xian.
Why did Trump choose war?
When asked why Donald Trump took these actions, despite the warnings of the military, Professor Zhang Xian points to three main reasons:
- Hybridity: The success of previous operations has made Trump overconfident in the invincibility of the US.
- Financial interests: Saudi Arabia and Israel have invested billions in the circle around Trump, including $2 billion in Jared Kushner's fund. These countries see Iran as an existential threat and have "bought" American intervention.
- Domestic Policy: The war allows Trump to request emergency powers, postpone elections, or consolidate power for a possible third term under the pretext of national security.
“The Shadow Scenario“
At the end of his analysis, the professor also touches on a darker topic - the role of secret societies and eschatological beliefs. He claims that certain groups in the elite (Jesuits, Freemasons, etc.) believe that the war in the Middle East is the "key to the end of time" and the creation of a new world order.
“They seem to be following a scenario that defies conventional logic“, concludes Professor Zhang Xian. Whether we believe in the theories of the “deep state“, the facts on the ground show one thing: the world is moving towards a multipolar model, and American hegemony is being subjected to its most severe test in decades.
