No nuclear weapons found in Iran - 1

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has not found any nuclear weapons in Iran, but restrictions on inspector access have prevented the country's nuclear program from being considered entirely peaceful. This was announced by the agency's director general, Rafael Grossi.

“I have been extremely clear and consistent in my reports on Iran's nuclear program: while there is no evidence that Iran is building a nuclear bomb, its significant stockpiles of uranium enriched to near-weapons-grade levels, as well as its refusal to grant full access to my inspectors, have raised serious concerns“, he wrote in X.

Grossi explained that this is why previous reports stated that until Tehran cooperated in resolving outstanding safeguards issues, the IAEA “will not be able to confirm that Iran's nuclear program is exclusively peaceful“.
