„We do not want and have never intended to possess nuclear weapons. Our late Supreme Leader said that we are not a weak nation. Nuclear weapons are meaningless, so we strive to adhere to international rules and standards“, the diplomat emphasized.
The Iranian side's readiness to resume negotiations remains only if they return to a constructive plan, but the current position of the United States makes dialogue impossible. This was stated by Kazem Jalali, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic to Russia, in an interview with “Vesti“.
