The UAE President visited on Friday, March 6, victims of Iranian strikes against the country.
FAKTI published the statement of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan from the medical facility with the assistance of the UAE Embassy in Sofia.
"Glory to God. I am here in the hospital to visit five of those injured in the recent events. All five are civilians: two Emiratis, one Indian, one Sudanese and one Iranian. They are all our responsibility and, God willing, they will recover fully.
The second thing I would like to say is that everything is fine in the UAE. This is home to many dedicated people - people who are an honour to stand alongside in this country. I would like to thank our armed forces for the vital role they are playing and for their exceptional service during this war.
I would also like to thank the other security institutions: the Ministry of Interior, the security services and the Civil Defence.
And I apologise to those I have not mentioned by name. They are all performing a duty that brings honour to the UAE and to all who belong to the UAE.
Another point I would like to make is that the Emiratis who live in this country have performed their duty in a way that brings joy and pride – just as they have always been expected to be. May God protect them.
As for the residents who live among us - our guests and our extended family - they have truly honored us with their position. We hope they will forgive us if we have failed in any way.
We are in a time of war and I promise them that we will do our duty because it is our duty to protect our people and our country.
Another message I would like to send is to the enemies of the UAE:
The UAE is attractive. The UAE is beautiful. The UAE is a model.
But I tell them: do not be fooled by the UAE's appearance.

We will fulfill our duty to our country, our people and our residents, who are also part of our family.
May God protect the UAE, protect its people and protect all who live in it with dignity and security.
I promise everyone that we will emerge stronger than before.
