Iran does not consider it advisable to hold further talks with the United States, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said in an interview with PBS.
He was asked whether the Iranian leadership had contacted US representatives since the election of Mojtaba Khamenei as the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic.
“First of all, it is too early for him to make any statements. We all await his statements and comments that will follow. But I don't think there will be further contacts or negotiations with the Americans because we have a very bitter experience with the Americans,“ the Iranian foreign minister said.
